A few notes from Dave
Long list — but many of these combine, and a lot take only an hour or so. Except where obvious, this stuff is either cheap or free.
Get over it: yes, we shoot guns; yes, we shoot fireworks. We do these safely — most of the time.
This is the country of Daniel Boone, Davy Crockett, and the Over‑Mountain Men. There are no large, fancy museums or central memorials to these hardy people — but many individual historical markers within 50 to 100 miles commemorate significant sites and events, some of which you'll see during your visit. These guys were very cool in their day, opening up a vast wilderness; their exploits are varied and numerous.
